This is made froma Top quality Marsden FlowerNephriteJade from New Zealand.

The stone is abeautiful grass greenwith yellow ochre/Gold inclusions making it unique with natural colour variation.

The carvingis sharp with well finished (withoutfacets)and convex and concave areas next to each other.

This is a Maori AuRei or cloak pin (check photos)

This stone is from an old rock-hound'scollection and has a really beautiful colour variation .

The stone is hard and fine grained. Stone of this colour and with these inclusions is very sought after.

In studying the geology of the area and the pieces of stone strewn aroundI have reason to believe that thisis from an exclusivedeposit.

The carving shape is sharp and fine being very thick (Over an inch or 25 mms)in places. The surface has a fine satin to polish finish.
