"This SWIRLS is made froma Top quality Nephrite from Cowell Australia originally weighing5 lb.

The stone is abeautiful crack free, blemish free, spotless, flawless very deep green(ALMOST BLACK) colour withno inclusions of any type making it uniformly unique without any colour variation, and under magnification it has a really very very dark green colour which to the nakedeye looks black.

The carvingis sharp with well finished (withoutfacets)convex and concave areas next to each other.

This is from Cowell(SA)area which is famous but unavailable now due to change of hands ofownership to Chinese.

This stone is from an old rockhound's collection and without any colour variation .

This is the only piece of jade I have seen from this source which is this clean.

The stone is hard and fine grained. Stone of this colour and without any inclusions has never been seen before byme.

In studying the geology of the area and the pieces of stone strewn aroundI have reason to believe that thisis from an exclusivedeposit.

The carving shape is sharp and fine being very thick (Over 2 inches or 50 mms)in places. The surface has a fine satin to polish finish.

I have made many carvings but this is exclusive."
