Based on the information available, the American Electrical Heater Company, which would later become known for its "AMERICAN BEAUTY" line of electric irons, was founded in Detroit in 1894.

Its important to note that the company did not begin producing the "American Beauty" irons until around 1912.

So while the company was established in Detroit in 1894, the "American Beauty" electric irons themselves were not being manufactured in Detroit in that specific year.

In 1894, the electric irons were still a relatively new invention, patented in 1882 by Henry W. Seely. Early models had drawbacks and the technology was still being developed and refined.
