Flag is absolutely beautiful, impressive and immaculate. Like new still with silk emblem center lining on both sides with German Empire insignia

Official marking of the Reichskolonialamt (Imperial Colonial Office), the central agency of the German Empire that managed its overseas territories from 1907 to 1919.
Typography: The text is written in Fraktur (Gothic) script, which was standard for German government documents and official items of that eraImperial Heraldry: To the right of the text is the Imperial Eagle, specifically the "Lesser Coat of Arms" of the German Emperor, which was used on government property
Function: This stamp identifies the Flag as a service Flag (ReichsdienstFlagge). Such Flags were flown at colonial administrative buildings, governor's residences, or on official government-owned ships in territories like German East Africa or German South West AfricaMarkings like these are highly significant for collectors because they distinguish an original period piece from a modern reproduction.
