For the serious collector, here is a fascinating and unique fossilized egg from and found in Grand Junction Colorado at Riggs Hill, it is believed to be from one of the large giant prehistoric Dinosaurs of that time. It has not been modified in any way. It could be from theCretaceous or Late Jurassic Period. It was found after digging a little over 2 ft down sitting/resting against a very old tree stump. This was found as is when dug up. This has NOT been modified in any way. This is in "as found" condition.Itmeasures right at 5.5 inches in length and 13.97 centimeters (5.5 inches) in diameter. It weighs 7.5 lbs.
This could be from any of the large Dinosaurs that roamed in what's now Grand Junction Colorado and the Riggs Hill area. This could also be one of the large prehistoric Sea Turtles of that time.With the brown/yellowish color on the inside, this could also be more like an embryo egg due to the agate like material you see exposed.Riggs hill in Colorado is where 190 different varieties of dinosaurs have been discovered, so I have no doubt that this IS a larger sized Dinosaur Embryo Egg of some kind.Simple rules to follow before you purchase this item:
