Rare, Stunningly Monumental & Gorgeous
This listing features an antique French bronze mantel clock with an exquisite, tall maiden figural. In same style of renowned French artist, Peiffer. The clock is mounted on a black marble or onyx appearance base, accented with delicate ornomolou, engraved details, carved feet plus two enchanting figural cherubs on opposing sides of the clock base & yet another figural display centered at base, a regal lion's head. The female bronze portrays a seated young woman maiden dressed in flowing period attire displaying superbly intricate, finest quality craftsmanship, also captured within her facial expression, hair & outstretched arm, fingers of hand. The other arm & hand clasping a long floral bouquet Magnificently displayed female form in motion.▶️Dimensions: 19.5" T x 15.5" L x 6.5" DCONDITION - RAN a short time; both case & clock will require cleaning.
TESTED: With the original brass wind key, clock woundsmoothlyon L side & began running. Minutehand gently advanced to 12th hour position, clock bell struck, responding immediately. The chime rang, a very delicate petite chime, however long & muted. Both the back case door & dial crystal are missing.Porcelain dial, hands are perfect.SELLER'S TERMS
