55" Antique Stations of the Cross with Oil on Copper Painting:

Description of item for sale: This monumental 55" tall antique set of stations of the cross dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's. The illustrations are hand painted with oil paintson copper plates. Note the fine detail in the artwork and the vivid colors. The frames are oak wood with gilded trim. These stations are in very good antique condition withminor chips, nicks andscratches consistent with theirage. Note in paprticular a small amount of paint loss here and there and the two missing cross tips. Be sure to examine the paintings carefully to understand the damage. Dimensions:55" tall and 30"wide. (1007).
