This is an old vintage sign from Johnny's Bar - Algiers Point.
It was found in storage and we are listing it here for sale ....it's a lovely historic sign from a New Orleans' landmark that closed about 40 years ago, it's now called "Old Point Bar"
The bar has been sold and resold many times in its life and this it from its early days when the bar was known as "Johnny's"
The sign is in aged condition, and there is a small piece missing on the lower right hand corner, the sign is also bowed/cuped somewhat due to age and sitting outside for so many years during its long life
The wood however is not dry rotten and is stiff and it's displayable inside. It has a fantastic look!
This sign is being sold AS-IS and shipping is anywhere in the usa for $200
the size is 5 foot tall and 18 inches wide, it was painted on some type of thick plywood and is about 1/2 thick
There is a coke can in the photo to display the size and give a close up of the damage on the lower corner
