A very-finest Chinese storage jar (almost 70yrs old). Using a Western dating system suggest this for export. And dating the contents suggest an alcoholic beverage. The characters arein ancient script but a superior vodka is a good guess. Our last image above is a current photo inside the Moutai storage facility. You can see, like the chop on this jar, theyhave placed the vessel's information on the shoulder of the jar. Hand pottered terra cotta (red clay).Very large at 20" tall.
