These were acquired at the estate of a family member of Parker Trask...his wife was Fannie Mae Craycroft of Fresno civic/business fame. Parker was a genius, born in 1899 acquiring a degree by age 17...shortly after, he was teaching at Yale and eventually UC Berkeley. His speciality was geology...He was asked to be a scientific observer onboard the USS Panamint for the ATOMIC TESTING at Bikini Atoll in July of 1946. Included in the lot is a photo of him from his time at Berkeley, his original 6 page typed letter of his observations of the testing, 22 original official Military 8" x 10" Glossy B/W photos of the bomb blasts from different altitudes, angles, and times...AN AMAZING collection...there can't be too many of these complete records out there.
