Holocaust Survivor Michael Cipin from Kaunas Lithuania lot of documents telling his incredible story, he survived Kauen ghetto, deported to Dachau 22-VII-1944 and was liberated from Dachau by the US Army. This lot contains; (1) certificate from the U.S. government stating he was a prisoner at the Dachau concentration camp and was liberated by the United State Army. This is one of the first official document that liberated Dachau prisoners received from the United States Army immediately after liberation. The document is signed by the American representative of the US Army and by the camp secretary. Good condition, aging stains, some repair signs on the back. 8.5x5.75 inch. (2) Jewish Agency, immigrant certificate to Palestine beloned to Michael Cipin. named with false identity of Palestinian citizen Kropinsky Eliyahoo. He arrived on board of immigrant ship Teti 28-X-1947. (3) ID Card named on Michael Cipin, illegal immigrant. Issued in 27-X-1947 ,Eretz Israel, Palestine. 3 Line stamp near the photo: “Possession of this card in no way constitutes evidence of legal residence in Palestine”. Size: 12 x 7.5 cm. Some wear, minor stains.
