Georgian period, English silver hilted officers sword. The hilt is of the 1788 pattern style, having a single knuckle bow and short langets along with a horn grip. The guard is hallmarked to the underside with a silver import mark. Double fullered steel blade measuring approximately 76cm long, 90cm including hilt. Complete with its original, black leather scabbard, that shows faint tooling to the leather and adorns silver mounts.
