3546-2026) Decatur Dart Point or Hafted Knife made ofheavily patinated and mineralized cream tan, and gray color Indian Green Chert.This specimen measures at 3.5” x 1.5” x 5/16” and has excellent bifacialprimary percussion followed by several stages of pressure flaking resulting ina biconvex cross section and alternating left hand blade edge beveling, thebasal margin is heavily thinned with pressure fluting on one face. Has someancient use wear, cigar box roll resulting in a few nicks and tip ding, overallG7 Quality. This relic was found on private property during the early 1900s bythe Adams family near Ogden in Henry County, Indiana, remained in the familyand was brought to Grapevine, Texas where I legally purchased it from an estatesale collection on 8.23.2026
