Here is a probable unique piece:CDV (10,5 x 6 cm) by the Great Italian Composer GAETANO DONIZETTI (1797-1848).
On the back, the following text is written in pencil:
"Ultima vera immagine fatta da me al povero Maestro Donizetti pochi giorni avanti la Sua morte in Bergamo nel 1848"
"Last real picture made by myself to the poor Maestro Donizetti few days before His death in Bergamo in 1848".
It may have been taken by Barone Gianmaria Scotti, who assisted Donizetti during his last months in Palazzo Scotti, in Bergamo.
