The Snowy Egret design was the Fall 2004 entry into the Yukari Royale series. This is a hand-crafted lacquer pen featuring traditional togidashi and takamaki-e techniques. The wonderfully executed design features an egret perched on a log in a field of ferns. Willows surround the Egret in this riparian Environment.Seiki depicts here a sheltered corner where one can feel safe, surrounded by the beauty of nature.

The concerned pen has been previously used and inked but in excellent pre-owned condition. Handling micro scratches, the most visible is below the artist’s signature (see photos).
