Presented is a Super Bilt model basketball signed by members of the legendary 1992 United States Men's Basketball Olympic "Dream Team," arguably the most dominant team ever assembled in the history of sports, featuring 11 Hall of Famers. After a disappointing bronze medal finish in the 1988 Seoul Olympics, the U.S. was determined to get back to the top of Olympic basketball. The 1992 Barcelona Games marked the first time that NBA players would be allowed to represent their respective countries. Seizing the opportunity, USA Basketball created what many consider the greatest team ever assembled. On their way to winning the gold medal, the Dream Team went 8-0, averaging 117.3 points per game, and decimated every team by 30 or more. The entire team was enshrined into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009. Basketball Hall of Famers Michael Jordan, John Stockton, Charles Barkley (2), Larry Bird, Clyde Drexler, Chuck Daly, George Raveling, Mike Krzyzewski, David Robinson, Magic Johnson, Karl Malone, Scottie Pippen, Patrick Ewing, and Lenny Wilkens have penned their black ink signatures across the entirety of the basketball; former Duke standout Christian Laettner also added his signature (16 signatures). The basketball features a "USA Dream Team 1992" logo and gold foil "OFFICIAL of the Barcelona '92 Olympic Games" text. The basketball exhibits small scuff marks and leather wear.
