146 sized piston filling fountain pen, preciousebony wood with pineapple design set with brilliant cut diamonds (approx. 1ct), hand-chiselled 18k-750 white gold inlays and rings. Cap top set with 0.5 carat Montblanc diamond emblem. 18k-750 gold nib (appears Medium).

The pen has been inked and extensively used. It shows numerous signs of use and widespread scratches on the turning knob and on the gold fittings.Additional photos and videos are available upon request.

The three-dimensional pineapple pattern with its many facets is a traditional Laguiole design and one of the most challenging patterns for an Artisan to create.Each facet is set with a diamond. The cap and barrel are made of precious ebony wood.

The fittings in 750 white gold and the 18 K gold nib are complemented by the Montblanc Diamond that crowns the cap top.

Generally speaking I would sat that the Masters for Meisterstück is one of the most coherent and successful series in the recent production of the Hamburg-based house, a series that has managed to explore the excellence of European craftsmanship while remaining faithful to Meisterstuck’s solid design lines.

I’ve always had a fondness for the Aubrac model. The regular Special edition is lovely and IMO perfect for daily use, LE50 Artisan is solid but this LE8 really is something else. Artisanal mastery at its finest. The hand-chasing work on this model strongly reminds me of the hand engravings found on the Montblanc 149 Skeleton LE 75, another one of my personal favorites.
