Description

This is the earliest diamond hockey game released by Yonezawa (Yonezawa Toys) in 1959.
Ice hockey was a game that would have excited young boys back then, but in addition to the entertainment value of the game today, the faces and postures of the tin players, the ink coating, etc., are interesting points that reflect the times, and the overall color scheme is also wonderful.
The biggest appeal of this product is that all 12 players are included with no missing items, and miraculously all the parts necessary for play, such as the goal net and puck, still exist.
The casing is made of tasteful celluloid (or early plastic), the bottom is reinforced with compressed paperboard, and the fence is tin...a nostalgic design unique to Yonezawa at the time.
The outer box has become quite damaged (tattered) over time, and if you touch it, it will deteriorate further, so please treat it as something for you to enjoy the graphics.
You can actually play the item itself, so please enjoy it.
