1 handwritten, signed letter from Martin Van Buren to L. W. Olcott. Dated September 12, 1828, this letter reads, "Please to pass the avail of the enclosed to my account. Yours cordially M.V.Buren Sept 12-1828" The letter is completely handwritten and signed "M.V. Buren" in black ink. "M Van Buren Sept 12 - 1828" along with a decorative swirl under the date is on reverse in black ink. The left border is slightly irregular, otherwise in fine condition.
