Dad’s Marine Corps Blanket 9.22.25

This is a fabulous crimson and gold military weight genuine Pendleton Woolen Mills wool blanket that my father won competing in an All Marine Corps 6-Wall Handball Tournament back in 1977. To my knowledge, only about 20 of these were ever made. My dad gave it to me decades ago and I have loved it every moment, but I’m seriously allergic to wool, I live in California where it never goes below 70 degrees, and its just laying in a drawer. I believe my father would want a die hard Marine (aren’t they all) to have and love it or someone who collects Pendleton blankets, this would be a really rare score. The blanket is 77 inches in length and 60 inches wide (77” x 60”); a very usable size. I have added a few pictures of moth damage, the first is the only cluster about 6” wide x 2” high. This is a smattering of small dot damage as well. A wooller should be able to fix it.
