Heuer introduced the Chronosplit range- a combination LCD/ LED solid-state quartz watch that looked like nothing else the company had produced before. As the name implies, the watch had two displays, each powered by its own movement.

A signed version of Chronosplit, the Ferrari Chronosplit LCD Chronograph was produced in a limited edition of 200 pieces in the time period from 1977-78 and was sold exclusively by Ferrari dealers worldwide.

This particular example comes as a full collector’s set, complete with the original Heuer presentation box, branded outer sleeve, Chronosplit LCD instruction manual, warranty paperwork, original receipt from Esselte Time, and even a handwritten letter dated 16 September 1980 from Dick Biström of Esselte Time, referencing a service dispatch to Switzerland.
