Estate found earthenware painted with black, white, and grey pitcher designed by Pablo Picasso, produced by Madoura. Piece is titled Pichet Gravé Gris (Grey Engraved Pitcher) and is in overall good condition. Pitcher is dirty and needs to be cleaned. There are some scratches and crazing to enamel, especially at bottom of handle- doesn't look like a crack in the earthenware but only the enamel (see photos). On the. bottom, it's scripted/painted with "Edition Picasso Madoura" and stamped/engraved with "Edition Picasso" and "Madoura Plein Feu". Piece measures ~ 11" tall. Sold with sale description from Heywood Kling Productions from 1974. As found.
