They are made by order of King Frederik the. 7 and delivered in 1783. Given to Prince Peter Romanov-Holstein-Gottorp.
Few pieces are known, from this early and beautiful set, with threads to the Danish Royal Family and the Russian Tsar Family. But a tureen is in the C.L.David Collection.. and illustrated in Grandjean's book of Royal Danish Porcelain on page 119. figure 99.
