Buck 110 Folding Hunter Second Version - Type 1. The Fifth Model, Made in 1965 - 1966.

Offered here is the fifth model of the venerable 110 folding hunter knife, in very good vintage condition. Its clip point blade, made of 440C stainless steel, measures 3 13/16 inches and marked BUCK on the left side, along and above the grind line. (This could be a rare error marking - the BUCK mark should be across the tang.) The grind line blends into the blade shape.

Its handle measures 4 13/16 inches, has cast brass bolsters, brass rocker and handle pins, and its spring is round (for the fourth time) with a spacer that is integral with the right side bolster. No pins in the back bolsters. Bolsters were fastened together by pins which were cast into one bolster and fitted into holes cast into the other. Made in USA.
