Up for sale is a Jay Strongwater Topiary. EXTREMELY RARE Collector's piece...the only one on !! It was purchased from Neiman Marcus and is part of the Flora and Fauna Collection. This topiary is hand-crafted! It is made of lovely leaves, flowers, and a butterfly on a topiary tree. Hand enameled in beautiful colors and hand set with Swarovski crystals throughout. GORGEOUS trellis design on the pot of the topiary. Brass and pewter with a brass ox finish. One of the centers of the flowers is missing and the crystals. Also the crystals are missing on the center of one large flower. It is missing one crystal on the bottom base of the trellis design. The enamel on one section (in 2 parts) of the trunk is missing...it was this way when purchased. I will leave it up to the winning buyer to repair it. I am sure that the piece could be sent off to Strongwater for repair. I could not find the Strongwater logo on this piece, but guarantee this is a Jay Strognwater AUTHENTIC item. VERY VERY HEAVY piece. It weighs 13.6 pounds. It measures approximately 18" tall ( from top to bottom) and has an approximate 10 1/2" diameter at the top (widest part.) The bottom base measures 4 1/4"W (at the very bottom of the base) and measures 6 1/2"W ( at widest part...near the top of the bottom base.) This was displayed for a short time in my non-smoking home. The top topiary ball leans a bit to the right...it was that way when purchased. There is wear to the feet on the base...see picture. The base was imported, but hand decorated in New York and Rhode Island. Please check out my other sales. I will be happy to combine shipping. Shipping is $100.
