“IN THE TRADITION OF MY GRANDFATHER” is how Ray describes his craftsmanship.

This full body horse effigy carries the blue and white “hail pattern” of the famous LAKOTA leader, Crazy Horse. Yellow paint completes the main coloring of the horse. The effigy is approximately 30” long. The mane is of buffalo fur, while the tail is horsehair. The bridle is made of native tanned hide and brass rings and fittings. Finished with red trade wool and native tanned fringes. It also carries brass hawk bell, colored trade beads, brass tacks and dyed split turkey feathers.
