This is a magnificent original 19th century French large bronze statue of a philosopher done by world famous listed artist Dubois done by F. Barbedienne fondeur in Paris. It is signed by the artist on the back of the statue with a foundery hallmark. It has a wonderful detail, design and patina. It measures approx 37.5" tall, 18" front, 21.5" wide. It was purchased from Sotheby's sale house in London 30 years ago.
