Vintageold wood wooden hand carved jewelry or treasure box with beautifully handcrafted carvings designs of schooner/schooners or ocean sea sail boat/sailboat boats and ancient Asian/Chinese people characters in some of the sides.
There is a signed signature and date markings at the bottom of the box but its unknown if the date specified indicated the date when it was made or its a date when somebody gave this box to someone as a gift. The date of creation is unknown, but it's old enough to be a vintage, but it could possibly be an antique?
ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS:The outside measurement of the box is 13-1/2 inches by 8 inches by 6-1/2 inches.ITEM CONDITION:In great condition, preowned, nice condition considering its age, its been stored in a cabinet for several decades, and now its available for sale. There is some crack in the wood at the bottom, but is not visible, the four visible sides with carvings and the top wood with carvings are all in great, beautiful condition for its age, maybe need dust cleaning and wood oil to make it sparkle even more and last for more centuries to come!
This is great treasure box to put away your treasures and miscellaneous memory collections, history, andmemorabilia.
