Fresh from the New England Estate comes this Massive piece of Dutch Delft dating to the 18th CenturyThe jar is made with a ribbed body and cover with a lion resting his paw on a ball
The body of the jar is beautifully painted with scenes of birds and flowers done in a rich blue!
The underside of the jar is marked ck for Cornelis Koppen who was at the De Metaale PotDuring the Mid 18th Century
This jar is impressive in size standing at an impressive 27.5 inches 70 centimeters Tall
Not many jars of this size survived and the condition of this jar is incredible with the only damage being a small chip on the top rim
which has been pictured included in the photos is a Delft tray made by Koppen that sold at Christie's sale house some years back
