HerbertJohn Cox also known as JohnCox served with the 1st Imperial Light Horse from 14/9/1900 – his deathfrom disease on 2/6/1901 at Johannesburg.

It is likely that he became sick in the field and wastransferred to the No. 12 General Hospital, Johannesburg.
