This listing is for an extremely rare Juvenile Dinocrocuta!!! This particular specimen has approximately 10 % restoration which involves mostly crack fill and some touch up paint. Two of the upper middle molars have tgeir tips restored and onelower incisor. Moreover the upper and lower jaws are from the same animal and NOT pieced together like other specimens. The tooth enamel are all intact and all original as well sans the previously described tips. The right rear section of the zygomatic arch has also been restored near the base of the skull. If there were any questions regarding whether this is in fact a Dinocrocuta or a Pachycrocuta or other species of hyena, one look at these teeth should dispell any questions or concerns!! They are truly enormous for this animal!!! Comes with a custom spalted mango wooden base!! Dinocrocutas were prevalent in Eurasia and were hyenas the size of Polar Bears!!
