Large Antique KPM Porcelain Plaque "Saint Anthony and Baby" 19th CenturyExquisite antique painted porcelain plaque 19th century of Saint Anthony holding a baby. This is a superb KPM painted porcelain plaque in excellent condition mounted in its original gilded carved wood oval frame. Please see close ups of KPM signature on the back of the plaque. The piece is artist unsigned, but was clearly done by an artist of a very high caliber. It is a tremendous early example of fine 19th century hand painted porcelain artistry.
MEASUREMENTS: The plaque size is 10-3/4 inches ( 27 cm ) high by 8-5/8 ( 21.5 cm ) inches wide. The framed size is 21 inches ( 53 cm ) high by 15-1/2 inches ( 43 cm ) wide.
CONDITION: The plaque is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or restoration. The wood frame has losses,restoration and wear which is normal for the age of this piece.
The porcelain plaque will be separated from the wood frame during shipment because of its fragility.Please look at pictures. Please contact us with any questions...
