WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT IT: This masterpiece necklace is a fabulous and very rare hand crafted early to mid century Zuni work of art which evidences a unique mastery of silver work, inlay and design and my best experience tells me as well as my source that this is the work of Lambert Homer Sr. The inlay is flush channel with natural Blue Gem mine turquoise.

This is a piece which I believe is unique and of great importance and it's gorgeous and highly collectible; it probably was originally intended for internal use. I purchased it from the vault of a gallery for my personal collection at considerable cost. I don't regret that; this piece is a treasure for the ages. All is handmade by this master early silversmith. The handmade chain is strong, sturdy and elegant. The piece has great weight to the hand and is absolutely beautiful.

Lambert Homer Sr. was one of the best Zuni artists of the CG Wallace period, a very important early contributor and a truly great master. The work on this necklace is absolutely masterpiece with focus on design for an elegant simple presentation.

CONDITION: excellent vintage, wearable and collectible condition with minimal if any normal age related wear.

MEASUREMENTS:
• Internal length end to end approximately 16". If one wanted it longer. I'd have a smith make an extender to match the links of the chain.
• center panel 3" x 1-2"
• side panels 2" x 1/2"
• dangles (roughly heart shaped) 1" x 5/8"
• weight 70.87grams
• no hallmark and not marked for silver content, both usual for those times. It's sterling silver and you have my confident attribution to Lambert Homer Sr.

SUMMARY: This is so gorgeous, I just look down at it and wear it often. It's stunning in every respect and an early Zuni masterpiece which can be worn often; it's sturdy and remarkably stunning as one of the early works. It belongs in the best collections and it's museum worthy. It is a timeless and unique treasure.
