This mid-19th century tintype photo, (circa 1860's), features a possible young John D. Rockefeller, when he worked as an assistant bookkeeper at 'Hewitt and Tuttle' -in Cleveland, Ohio. The metal, sepia-colored tintype carded image, measures 2.5" x 4"is framed in cardboard, and captures a portrait of the famous New York celebrity in a documentary style.
