This extraordinary letter, featured on Walt Disney's official stationary, pre-dates the opening of Disneyland just four months later. A shining example of Walt Disney's famous warmth and hard-working tenacity, reading "I have no thought of retiring and by the time you finish art school, we'll still be right here making pictures as always."

Walt Disney (1901–1966) never stoped innovating, from pioneering animation to creating The Happiest Place on Earth, Walt transformed the entertainment industry. After launching his career in Kansas City, he moved to Hollywood with his brother Roy, co-founding the Disney Brothers Studio in 1923, which became Walt Disney Productions, a giant in animation and theme parks, and entertainment.
