Proceeds from this sale will be used to help my widowed father who is 93 years old and a veteran of the Korean war.

July, 2026 update:My father had a small stroke on July 1 and has spent 2 weeks in the hospital and rehab and should be released around the last week of July. He is thankfully improving but needs some extra care at home and proceeds from sales will go toward that care and also to save toward the cost of a quality assisted living facility when he can no longer live on his own. My father is my only family and I help him the best I can, but I am 70, widowed, and limited in what I can do to help and there is no one who can help either of us.So any money made here will be a huge help for my father and will be most appreciated.

~ Thank you in my late husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer, he spent considerable time in the hospital for the last few months of his life. Behind our house was a flower bed with some shrubs and the bed was covered in natural river rocks, smooth in texture, in round and oval shapes. As his conditioned had worsened and he was transported to hospice and was days away from death, I was extremely stressed and feeling hopeless, and I went home one evening and at dusk I went out back and stood at the edge of that flower bed and began crying. I was looking up to the sky through a tall, beautiful oak tree and asked God for help and strength. All of sudden, something made me look straight down at my feet ... and by my right shoe, at the very edge of the flower bed, among all the smooth river rocks, I saw a very odd-shaped object, as though I was compelled to notice it. I wasn't sure what it was, so I bent down and picked it up. It was a rock, but I had never seen a rock shaped like it - and what was immediately noticeable was what appeared to be a faint image of a face. I took it inside to look at it under the light and it appeared to be an abstract representation of the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus - and I was stunned. Stunned.
I sat down, holding that rock and crying, and feeling a sudden sense of calm.
To this day, I feel it was a divine moment that brought me comfort during a very horrible time.Months later, I showed the rock to several people I knew, and they all agreed it reminded them of Mary and Jesus. One person even offered to buy it, but I declined his offer and kept it because I was still grieving and felt it was spiritually symbolic in relation to what had happened.
Please understand, I make NO claims that this rock has any powers or that it will bring the owner good fortune in any way or even that there is no other rock like it. But I never saw one like it and the fact that such an unusual, natural rock was in an area full of smooth, polished-looking river rocks and that I was compelled to look down at the very moment I asked God for strength and found that rock - was indeed, I believe, a divine moment.
I have kept this rock in a small gold-colored box for safe-keeping for almost 16 years.
Now, I have decided to sell it for the sole purpose of helping my elderly father who is widowed and a veteran of the Korean War. He turned 93 in July and a few days before his birthday, he had a small stroke. He is recovering well, thank goodness, but the proceeds of this sale will be a tremendous help for him and the care he needs. The price for this does not come from a place of greed, it comes from the heartfelt desire to help my dear father and I can't tell you what it would mean to both of us if someone kindly buys this rock.Hopefully, the buyer will appreciate the back story of how I found it and perhaps it will offer some emotional and spiritual comfort for that person as it did for me during an enormously stressful and sad time.
