Vintage J & E Cast Iron Mechanical Bank Professor Pug Frogs Coin Bank 1886?:

Bank measures 10 1/2" long x 3 3/4" wide including the handle x 7"tall, very good readable markings and reads Professor Pug FrogsGreat Bicycle Feat and also reads in front of the lady with hertongue out Mother Goose Circus (this one is more difficultto read), great paint and colors with sporadic paint missing at somespots, works by putting a coin on the back wheel of the bicycle andturning the crank very fast to have the coin dropped into the basket, hasits original cast iron plug underneath but hard to read I do believe itis marked 1886 but the rest is questionable, very hard to find these earlymechanical banks and I believe this one is above average ascompared to the ones I have seen, selling as shown.
