Magnificent German Wallendorf figurine, made in 1965. Depicting a pair of young ladies gracefully and joyfully jumping over the waves. Both girls are dressed in retro bath suits with shorts, blonde haired, spread arms, while running between hight lifted waves.

Artist signed (see my photo) on the top of the base: Steiner

Kurt Steiner (1904 - 1970) , was a famous modeler and designer since the early 1930s and influenced Thuringian ornamental porcelain for decades.

Marked on the base with crowned W 1764 in green, beautifully sculpted and glazed, perfect fingers, it is in excellent condition.
