O'Neill's work began in the 1960's where he did a strip called Odds Bodkins for the San Francisco Chronicle. But he's perhaps more famous for his own underground comic book, Air Pirates Funnies which spoofed Disney characters and resulted in a famous lawsuit by the Disney Company.Here's a great example of thekind of thing that got him in trouble with Disney.

This is the orignal cover art for Dan O'Neill's Comics and Stories #2,which was published in1971. It'ssigned by the artist. You also get the the actual book and a Certificate of Authenticity signed and dated by the artist in October of 2011.Thecover art is pencil on paper and measures 9 X 13 inches. It's in EXCELLENT condition. Thecomic book is in VERY FINE condition.
