Seller Ken Reinhardt Koolfinds716 created table lamp. A lamp for Morticia. Large, 26 1/2" overall height. 8 1/2" hand formed copper sheet base, solid copper feet under the sheet, decorated at the edges with brass plated steel beaded chain. 5 1/2" cast iron antique lamp base atop the copper sheet. 3 1/2" brass disc above the cast iron base. 8" x 3" Japanese bronze bud vase atop the brass disc. Copper rods were hand twisted & shaped to resemble a plant, flower emerging from the bud vase, spiraling upwards to meet the Sun. Handmade copper leaves, Sunflower form, intwined in the mix, sprouting from the twisted vine. Antique brass socket & 2 1/4" fitter. Antique Quezel gold aurene shade, beautiful, signed, damage free condition. Winding along the vine to carry Life to the bulb is green cloth covered solid strand copper wire, twisted and wrapped snugly. From the bottom of the base outward is standard brown lamp cord with a vintage plug end and new insulator disc. The lamp is completely functional, tested safe, ready to use lamp, light. The lamp is all surface clean, can be handled as you would any other table lamp. The finish on the bronze vase was applied by the artisan who created it, silicone, super gloss finish, purple clouds amongst. All other parts and pieces that comprise the lamp were colored and finished by me. The lamp is fastened or soldered as a whole, 1 brass nut at the underside center does the job of cinching it all together. The blueprints to the lamp are in my head. As a characteristic of copper being formed and twisted similar to a coil spring there is some "bounce" action when handled, moved etc, harmless. Malleable copper, buyer can tweak the vine settings to personal preferences, don't be afraid, grab it and bend it, solid as a rock construction. Same goes for the leaves, the small attaching vines are copper, soft, can be tweaked as well. The lamp looks better in person than in digital images. TUNS of time to create, not perfect, natural in appearance utilitarian lighting device. I am not offering to ship the lamp, for local pickup only, 14207. Please see all pics.
