This super ultra rare and collectible set is part of a first ever holiday limited edition miniature series 2000 hand-painted cel from the hit TV show "The Simpsons". It features 2 unique art relating to Christmas theme:

Serial: SH01 “D’oh! Homey Night” - Sneaking down to catch a glimpse of Santa: Bart, Lisa and a little Maggie see more than anticipated when they spy “Santa” giving Marge some Holiday “sugar” under the mistletoe! (numbered 38 of 50)

Serial: SH02 “Dreamin’ of a Duff Christmas” - Homer, resplendent in his finest Santa Togs, relishes the moment when his Christmas dreams come true… Forget the fruitcake. Forget the figgy pudding’… Bring on THE DUFF! (numbered 20 of 50)

Here are the reason why you’ve (almost) never seen these; let alone both at once! I saw the offering in 20th Century Fox employee only store/shop promotional display (yes, I used to work at Fox; that’s why I had access) & asked the only 2 workers there. They told me this is the first offering only to Fox employees since animation studio wasn’t sure if it would have any interest (keep in mind we’re in 1999-2000 year & even Matt Groening don’t know the true longevity of Simpsons since Futurama were on thin ice & Family Guy was recently cancelled). I expressed my interest in purchasing them & the shop employees told me that some employees were in one & not the other but only a few put their name for both; I did just that which they said there were no more than 20 employees did what I did. By the next day I went back to the employee’s shop during lunch again & the employees informed me that all were sold out (or reserved) few hours after I put my name on the list with some people willing to put their name on standby just in case people changed their mind. Few months go by & I received a call in my office from the shop that it came in so I hurried there to get it before it was released to other employees that are on standby & they gave it to me in the bubble wrap in the last photo & it has been in that cover ever since (until I took it out just to take photos of it).

This piece is a must-have for any fan of the franchise. The frame measures 9 inches in length and 9 inches in height while cels themselves are 6 inches by 6 inches, and comes with a Studio Seal and a Certificate of Authenticity.

This particular piece was produced in the early 2000s and is an original production cel, not a reproduction.
