For sale, an extremely rare, ultra limited piece of anime/NGE collectible history.
Before the Crunchyroll version of Misato's jacket was released, Gainax/Project EVA/TV Tokyo created 50 true to size complete replicas of Misato's NERV uniform consisting of her jacket, skirt, and beret. They also paired it with other collectible replica items like a NERV pin, phone card and her cross necklace.
Of the 50 that were created, 10 were given to Gainax executives and related parties.
This set is #4 of 40 as shown on the Certificate of Authenticity, making it a low number example of an already exceptionally rare item.
The uniform has never been worn as perYoshiyuki Sadamoto's intent to make the uniform as character accurate to Misato's measurements in the anime, only perhaps a very small adult (under 5 feet) or child would actually be able to fit into the uniform.
This piece of anime history has been carefully stored in only conditioned spaces, away from sunlight. Please see the pictures for the condition of all of the items, uniform, accessories and the COA - which has always been kept in the original frame that it was received in and never taken out.
