Seller Ken Reinhardt Koolfinds716 created stained glass chunk bowl shade nestled in an antique Art Nouveau lamp base. Big Lamp. In person viewing truly reveals the depth and warmth of the lamp assembly. Antique grey metal lamp base in the form of a tree trunk wishing well, marked Germany. Horned devil or demon face at front, open mouth, original green stained glass insert in place, intact at mouth opening. I did pierce the metal lamp base at the devils' eyes to allow for install of a pair of antique Czech glass beads, red in color with small green glass bead centers, protruding. The base was found long neglected, no glass at the center of the large bowl. I did hand chip and form stained glass chunks into the bowl area, 9" stepped, concave with blue crackle glass rondel at the center. Youghiogheny glass cullet tossed in the mix. Soldered to the rear or underside of the chunk glass bowl insert are 4 new candelabra sockets with 4 new 15-watt mini bulbs to help illuminate the glass shade. The lamp base was void of any light socket remnants when found, no upper branches or lights above the Woman did exist on this example. The 3 short protruding branches are stable with very minor age related stress wear, no looseness or missing pieces. I did install a new socket mount tab bar along with a new E26 socket and 40watt bulb at the base interior to illuminate the devil face as well as up through the blue glass rondel at center. All new wiring, inline switch, plug end, tested safe ready to use table accent lamp. Large in size, overall height is 21 1/2", width is 19", Woman is 24" long. Listed as local pickup located 14207 East Coast. In the meantime, I may add lights above the figure, I will update the listing if so. The glass insert can be lifted from the bowl for bulb access. Also, access granted to the base interior from the underside. Makers tag at the interior.
