In 1997 the fashion industry one of it's greatest & most iconic designers - GIANNI VERSACE! Versace, ranked with Giorgio Armani as the most famous Italian fashion designer of the 1990s, was known for his sexy, flamboyant fashions. A few years after the loss, the family placed all the contents of the Miami Mansion where Versace was murdered up for sale through Sotheby's sale house. The sale took place April 5-7th of 2001. The 700 objects -- fine art (much of it, anyway), furnishings (much of it baroque, as one might expect) and fashions (his, of course) -- drew the curious, the collectors, and the celebrities all longing to get a piece of the fashion icons possessions. Sotheby's expected the sale to yield $5 million to $7 million, but in it's first day of offerding it had exceeded that estimate raising $7.8 million.This is your chance to own a piece of history DESIGNED BY THIS TITAN OF FASHION. This NEOCLASSICAL STYLE GILT lamp is PATINATED METAL LAMP with a tapering rectangular standard cast on all sides with MEDUSA HEAD MEDALLIONS hung with drapery surmounted by a bowl-shaped nozzle and ending in a stepped gadrooned square base, Height to top of nozzle is 17 1/2 inches and Total height is 30 inches. LAMP IS IN PERFECT WORKING CONDITION. These original ones are not anywhere on or anywhere to buy. This is your opportunity to own a piece of fashion history! s!!!
