Antique c. 1900 D.M. Dillon Steam Boiler Works & Crosby Steam Gage & Valve Co. Large Brass Metal Glass Front Steam Gauge. Excellent Condition, slight surface wear to the original patina of the brass, some wear and loss to the original black paint on the iron metal. All appears in working order however we did not test. Front metal plate marked D.M. Dillon Steam Boiler Works Fitchburg, Mass. at 6 o'clock marked Crosby Steam Gage & Valve Co. Boston U.S.A. serial number 479318. With both names on the gauge as well as being brass rimmed this piece was a custom order where Crosby manufactured the internal movement and dial face specifically for installation on a Dillen boiler system.
