This jacket and custom Jeff Hamilton case came from the Admirals Quarters in the Hilton Casino in Las Vegas the theme park. This jacket is one of three made for Hilton Casino as a prototype. I bought the first one in 1998 then Jeff Hamilton started numbering them. Micheal Jackson bought number 3. I can't tell you how many were made. I bought this jacket at theStar Trek: The Experiencepavilion anattraction that opened in January 1998 at the Las Vegas Hilton, now called theWestgate Las Vegas, inLas Vegas, Nevada,United States. It is based on theStar Trekentertainment franchise. The pavilion underwent a major renovation in 2004 to add the Borg Invasion4-D attraction, allowing guests to encounter theBorg. The attraction was operated by entertainment management companySix Flags(formerlyCedar Fair) after its June 2006 purchase ofParamount Parksfrom theCBS Corporation.It closed in September 2008 and was scheduled to reopen in theNeonopolisMall on May 8, 2009, in time for the premiere of the filmStar Trek. The opening was then pushed back to 2010, and then in 2011, it was announced thatCedar Fairhad lost licensing. I took the jacket back in 2000 and they had told me it was worth $10,000 because it was the prototype and since I bought it, Michael Jackson had just bought his 2001. I have had it stored away ever since in my home closet.
I would suggest going to the new theme park and asking about the true value of this gem. Please tell others who may be interested.
