EXTRA RARE AND WHIMSICAL, ORIGINAL GERMAN MAJOLICA PLANTER IN A SHAPE OF A CAT AND A BASKETMADE BY GERBING & STEPHAN DURING THE HIGHT OFTHE ART NOUVEAU ERA OF 1890 -1904.
THE PIECE IS IN A VERY GOOD UNDAMAGED CONDITION WITH SOME USUAL WEAR - LIGHT SURFACESTAINING TO THE INSIDE OF THE POT.
THIS CAN BE REMOVED IFNECESSARY, BUT BEING A NATURALIST, I WOULD NOT RECOMMENDDOING IT,AND WOULD RATHER PRESERVE AN OLD ORIGINAL LOOK AND FEEL OFA TRUE ANTIQUE.
