For sale is an exceptionally rare and very well preserved 1990’s period illuminated advertising sign of the Ferrari 250 GTO.

This sign was used as an internal advertising piece for the service area of Maranello Concessionaires Ltd, the first UK authorised Ferrari importer. It is a great size and also very impressive when seen in person.

The sign consists of a single sided design which features a cutaway version of the 250 GTO with the focus being on the V12 engine and internal construction. The translucent panel sits within an aluminium frame which is housed inside a thermoformed plastic enclosure. It is supposed to be attached to the wall using the rear support mounts but it can also sit comfortably on a shelf or table top.

The internal lighting is neon fluorescent operated and it is fully functional. The sign is currently wired to a UK plug but it can be easily changed to a European plug without the need for any adapters. For the sign to function in the USA, a step down converter would be required (easily obtained from an electrical goods store for approximately $40). The colours and inviting glow is genuinely superb.

The sign presents itself very well and being for the well known and much loved Ferrari brand, it is almost impossible to come by. There condition overall is exceptional apart from general signs of usage and age.
