For sale is an exceptionally rare and very well preserved, 1980’s period official Honda motorbikes dealer service advertising sign.

This sign was used as part of the external advertising for an established dealer in Milan, Italy. It is a great size and also very impressive when seen in person.

The sign is double sided and features a thermoformed plastic logo housed inside a robust aluminium enclosure with a mounting flange. The best way for the sign to be displayed is for it to be wall mounted.

The sign is illuminated by its original neon fluorescent lamps and it is fully operational. The sign is still wired for Italian use but I can ensure a U.K. plug is fitted as the same voltage is shared. For the sign to function in the USA, a simple step down converter is all that is required (or to perhaps change the lighting to LED modules instead).

The sign has never been cleaned since it was removed and does show only minor signs of age, however the condition is excellent upon close examination and it does present itself very well. I can also confirm there are no cracks present.

The colours are bold and very striking. Being for the well known and much loved Honda brand, they are almost impossible to come by.

I am willing to ship this special sign worldwide and I will ensure it is safely packaged. A bespoke wooden shipping crate will be supplied as part of the sale.

This nostalgic and atmospheric piece is very striking and would be perfectly suited for an enthusiast to have on display. It has been privately owned and enjoyed but now the time has come for a new home to be found. I will ensure the sign is safely packaged for its journey to its new owner.
