Vintage 1950s Inuit Hunter Face Head Hand Carved Soapstone Eskimo Bust Sculpture 23lbs. Large and very heavy. Made of genuine soapstone. Part of a collection of rare native Inuit art that was purchased by our buyers. This piece is in excellent condition with superb attention to detail and expressiveness. Although this piece is unsigned, the other pieces in this collection were attributed to Davie Atchealak. This piece weighs slightly more than 23 lbs and measures 10" x 10" x 4".
